Drew Bennett, Redeemer Winter Haven
"Church planting returns the local church to its New Testament roots. The church planting movements I have been a part of or seen from afar are full of vitality and a sense of mission because they are embodying the intentions of Jesus for the church in the Great Commission (Matt 28:18-20). Practically, church planting is the most effective way to reach unchurched people and people new to a community with the gospel of Jesus Christ and to also revitalize existing churches. For all of these reasons and more, I am so excited and grateful to be a part of the work of church planting, both in the local church that or and also through the Florida Church Planting Network."
Rod Whited, Pinewood Presbyterian (Retired) - Middleburg
"I am convinced that God's primary plan for the taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the world is through a local church. Furthermore God is bringing many people to the United States who need the Gospel."
John Anderson, Bay Presbyterian Church - Bonita Springs
"Church planting is vital because we live in a geographic locale where the communities are underserved by the church because of the rapid growth of the population. I believe that church planting is the best way to reach into that new population to serve them and reach the lost with the gospel."

“I am honored to serve on the board of the Florida Church Planting Network. With the help of the network, we planted a church in Jacksonville four years ago. Now, through our participation in the network we get to help plant more new, gospel-centered churches throughout the state. Sometimes planting and pastoring a new church can be all consuming. My involvement with the network helps to remind me that the Kingdom is bigger than our little church, that the gospel is going forward as new churches are established around the state, and that we are part of a movement larger than ourselves.”
Damien Schitter, New City - Orlando
"It's an honor to serve on the Executive Board of the Florida Church Planting Network because it allows me to participate in the work of church planting in Florida in a unique way. The opportunity to serve a network advocating for and facilitating church planting and church planters in meaningful ways is important work that I'm glad to be a part of.”
North Florida Presbytery - Tim Hayes, Christ Community Gainesville
Central Florida Presbytery - Matt Ryman, UPC Orlando
"I believe the Scriptures clearly teach the critical importance of church planting for the completion of the Great Commission. And, studies show that more people come to faith in Christ through church plants than by any other means. It is a huge honor to serve on the Executive Board of the Florida Church Planting Network because it gives me a chance to participate in the process of identifying, developing, and deploying church planters all over the sunshine state."
Suncoast Presbytery - Geoff Henderson, Harbor Community Bradenton
"I have become convinced that the planting of gospel centered churches is the most effective means by which God brings new believers to Himself and sends them out to bless their communities. I have been served by the Florida Church Planting Network for a number of years, and am thrilled to hop on board to see this mission continue."
